A chapter of the global e-NABLE Community

Free 3D-printed hands, built by neighbors in Naperville.

We're local volunteers who 3D print, assemble and deliver open-source prosthetic hands and arms — at no cost — to kids and adults who need them.

What is e-NABLE?

e-NABLE is a worldwide community of "digital humanitarian" volunteers who use 3D printers to make free and low-cost upper-limb assistive devices. Its open-source designs help people born without fingers or hands, and people who lost them to illness, accidents, war or natural disaster.

Tens of thousands of volunteers in more than 100 countries take part, and hundreds of chapters — schools, scout troops, libraries, companies and makerspaces — build devices for people in their own communities.

Our part in Naperville

Since 2024, our team of 8 has been bringing e-NABLE's mission to our own community — printing devices, raising funds and spreading the word.
